Look at how she just goes to him, because she realizes that she can be vulnerable around him now and he’ll still think she’s awesome

and she’s probably stressed and sad and probably angry out of her mind, so she goes to him for comfort, and he just automatically hugs, no hesitation. 

Mako tells her she’s the bravest person he’s ever known, but he also holds her hand and makes sure she feels safe because she doesn’t need to be a hardass every second of her life for him to know she can take care of herself.

It’s just so sweet that while she has to look out for the whole world, it’ll never get too big and scary for her because she’ll have someone looking out for her. <3
